CA Kids is a place to call home for those who have lost theirs. We have created a nurturing environment in the small community of Maili Sita, at our sustainable Rainbow Ridge village, in eastern Tanzania. CA Kids forms the human living component of our Development Aid Project.
Our Development Aid Project encourages a sustainable way of living. CA Kids is staffed by the local community, which creates job opportunities and family environments for those who need it most.
Our CA Kids have access to education facilities which include; English, music, art, permaculture, sewing and carpentry, enriching their existing education at local schools which is funded by generous donations from our supporters.
Supported by an empowered community the Development Aid Project encourages CA Kids to develop friendships and opportunities outside their home, supporting them in developing the skills and knowledge they need to become happy and healthy adults.
Soon to be constructed is the Sustainability Education Centre, where we will be teaching permaculture, sustainable construction, carpentry, computing, English, sewing, arts and music. Classes will be available to those living at Rainbow Ridge and also the wider Maili Sita community.
