This 5-day intensive taught in both English and Swahili equips participants with practical, low-cost techniques for sustainable poultry farming and integrated livestock systems. Grounded in agroecology and ethnoveterinary practices, the course covers natural disease management, feed formulation, housing design, and innovative protein supplementation (e.g. maggot farming, Azolla, hydroponics). Participants gain hands-on skills to improve animal health, enhance productivity, and design resilient, income-generating farm systems.
