200hr Yoga Teacher Training - Tanzania, Africa!

Our 200-hour YTT will be a certified Baptiste Yoga Teacher Training Programme. Baptiste yoga is a form of power Vinyasa yoga that focuses on flowing sequences of postures linked by breath. Strength and Flexibility: It emphasises building strength, flexibility, and endurance through vigorous practice.

No, this training is open to all levels, whether you’re new to yoga or an experienced practitioner.While it is always preferable to have had some experience of Yoga and Yoga practice, we look at each circumstance separately.

No, as long as you pay the deposit by the early bird cut-off date, then you are eligible for the early bird price.

Yes, you will receive a 200-hour Yoga Teacher Certification, allowing you to teach worldwide.

Yes, you’ll be fully certified to begin teaching yoga onceyou complete the course.

Local citizens in Tanzania will have the chance to run community Karma classes locally in Moshi and Arusha to help boost their confidence in teaching. This may also lead to ongoing classes where you can start to develop your yoga business. We are here to support you with your yoga teaching and can discuss these options after completing the course.

Many trainees join for self-development rather than teaching—it’s entirely up to you!

Sample schedule

6:30 - 7:30 am: Breakfast 8:00 - 9:30 am: Morning Session (Meditation)

9:30 - 9:45 am: Break with morning tea

9:45 - 12:30 Noon: Morning Session(Mat) 12:30 - 1:30 pm: Small Group Breakout with Lunch 1:00 - 4:00 pm: Discussion Session 4:00 - 4:15 pm: Break with afternoon tea 4:15 - 6:30 pm: Practice Teaching (Mat) Dinner Break with overnight Assignment.

Yes. There will be 2 ½ days off during your training in Tanzania. We will be offering optional day trips to local attractions during these times (for an extra fee); otherwise, you're welcome to take the time for yourself to recharge.

Rainbow Ridge is a mere 40-minute (38km) car ride from Kilimanjaro International Airport. If you require airport pickup, we can arrange this (for an extra fee). Please get in touch to enquire.

No. Our amazing children will be off-site at their boarding schools during the duration of the 200hr yoga teacher training and won’t be home until the easter holidays!
